Replacement Sledge Motor for the BeoGram 4000

With some help in 2021, I found two possible replacement sledge motors for the BeoGram 4002 — one from Maxon and one from Portescap, where the latter is the more affordable option (50 USD versus 75 USD).
I purchased the motor from Portescap and conducted extensive tests. It seems to be an excellent replacement, even though it runs a bit too fast at full speed. As expected, it is also completely silent at low speed but emits a low-pitch noise at full speed. Below, it is compared to the original model from Escap.
I had to design and print a pulley for the shaft, as the diameter of 2mm is slightly larger than the original. It would have been ideal to reuse the original pulley, though. Expanding the hole with a 2mm precision drill should be possible.
The motor fits perfectly into the original housing, and the noise is further reduced with the new damping foam installed.
A perfect replacement if needed.
