Pickup mount

The plastic tab in the BeoGram 4000 pickup mount can break with wear and age. I replace the mount with my own nylon part and flexible PCB.

The pickup mount on the BeoGram 4000 series holds the pickup in the arm. Its plastic tab can break from wear, stress and age, and once it does the pickup no longer sits securely.

I replace it with a new mount and a flexible PCB, both my own design. The mount is printed by Multi Jet Fusion in PA12 nylon with 40% glass beads, which gives strong layer adhesion, stiffness and accurate dimensions, and it's dyed black to match the original. The flexible PCB is 0.08 mm polyimide with gold plated ENIG traces, so the pickup can be changed many times without wearing them.

It's verified on the 4002 and 4004. Both the mount and the flexible PCB are listed under parts.
