Piezoelectric Element

BeoLink 7000

One of the BeoLink 7000’s elegant touches is its ability to wake with a tap on the top plate. Over time, however, the piezoelectric element responsible for this feature can degrade and stop responding.

Fortunately, it can be replaced with a matching component. By opening the bottom cover, accessing PCB1, and desoldering the old element, you can fit a new one in its place. Read more here.
